ONLINE Certification Course „LNG Market and Trading“
The Bulgarian UTILITIES magazine – a B2B monthly for infrastructure, energy, and utilities – together with the Centre for Educational Studies at the Fauclty of Economics and Business Administration (Sofia University „St. Kliment Ohridski“) organizes
An Online Certification Course
„LNG Market and Trading“
which will take place on 23-24 June 2022
The online training will take place in the zoom webinars platform.
The aim is to give the audience a practical and theoretical perspective for LNG trading. The topic is at the forefront due to the transformation of the power sector in Europe and limited pipe gas deliveries.
The prospects are for a verry bright future of diversifying of gas supply sources from around the world but globalized market hides it’s risks. Adding the regulatory regime of the EU market to the picture it becomes harder for junior professionals to understand this option for portfolio optimization.
The course will extend our knowledge with the following information:
- LNG market outlook (supply, demand, trade, shipping, overview of European gas hubs)
- Key actors (liquefaction assets, contracts, strategy)
- LNG contracts (principles, main features, spot vs long-term contracts, contracting trends)
- LNG pricing
- Carbon emissions (emissions of the LNG supply chain; reduction and compensation)
- Regulation and infrastructure
After attending the course, the participants will receive an online CERTIFICATE from the Centre of Educational Cervices at the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration (Sofia University „St. Kliment Ohridski“).
Platform for e-learning
The course will take place in the Zoom Webinars platform – the registered participants will receive an individual email with sign-in information. You can test the webinar platform here – >>test webinar<<.
